Acclaim Health provides the Halton community with extraordinary community care offering help and support so people can live well at home.
Drop-in Bereavement Support Group
Many of us are familiar with Acclaim’s bereavement support program. A new addition to this program is a free drop-in bereavement support group. It’s a great opportunity to meet others who are also grieving, share ideas and receive support and learn more about other community services.
Meetings are scheduled every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month starting Sept 24th from 5:00-6:30pm at the Prime Care Family Health Team, 470 Bronte St in Milton. For more information or to register contact Nina Page at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bereavement Volunteer Training
Acclaim is recruiting volunteers for Bereavement Volunteer Training. If you’ve been through a loss and feel ready to support others experiencing grief and loss, this is a great program to “give back” to the community.
The fall session begins Monday October 15th and runs for 8 weeks to December 3rd from 1:00-4:00 pm weekly.
